Welcome!

We’re a mom & pop craft brewery and taproom, hidden in the vibrant neighborhood of Parkville, Hartford. Our tap list features a constantly rotating list of craft beers brewed onsite, from our flagship Kölsch- style ale to bold, barrel-aged offerings and everything in between. We also feature guest taps of hard ciders, wines, and kombucha. We offer cans and growlers to go.

Housed in the former Hartford Rubber Works building, which manufactured the country's first pneumatic tires for automobiles and bikes, the taproom pays tribute to its industrial roots. Massive machinery from the turn-of-the-century sit among the barstools and picnic tables, and pieces of Hartford history grace the walls. We are proud to be in such a historic neighborhood and grateful to be one of the many amazing Connecticut breweries. You'll usually find a food truck outside, games inside, live music, pop-up events and more. Welcome to 'Hartford's Living Room!’

Our Beers

Our taproom beer menu features a constantly rotating selection of house beers, poured direct from tank to your pint. Our philosophy is simple - we brew what we love with the hope that you will love it too. We offer a range of styles specializing in classic German beers, New England IPAs, Sour Ales, and Barrel-aged beers. In addition to our rotating tap list, we have many of our beers available to-go in 4-packs and growlers. You can also find us on tap at several local restaurants & bars, on shelves of many Connecticut package stores, and on draft at Dunkin’ Donuts Stadium for the Hartford Yard Goats games!

Columbia Cream Ale (with Orange)

17 IBU, 5 SRM, 5.5% ABV

We’ve resurrected a classic style and applied a modern twist. Brewed with American 2-row malt, flaked maize and Idaho 7 hops. This beer has fresh juice from over 100 lbs. of hand-squeezed navel oranges. But juicy it’s not. We tweaked and applied restraint to end up with the perfect balance of malt, hop and citrus. You’ll notice a citrus fragrance, full mouth feel and just a mild bitterness to cut the sweetness of the fruit.

Hartford Pale Ale (HPA)

30 IBU, 7 SRM, 6% ABV

One malt, white wheat and hopped with an abundance of Mosaic and Wakatu. Hazy and full bodied with a dynamic floral and tropical fruit profile.

Muddy Water IPA

10 IBU, 6 SRM, 6.4% ABV

Brewed with wheat and Golden Promise. Heavily hopped with Vic Secret and Azacca to bring strong pithy citrus flavor and aroma to this hazy, full bodied NEIPA.

Local 35 IPA

 32 IBU, 4 SRM(Hazy), 6.2% ABV

A hazy IPA brewed with Golden Promise malt, white wheat and oats. A heavy dose of Citra and Amarillo hops added at the end of the boil and dry hop for a fragrant aroma of citrus, tropical fruit, apricot and peach.

Ask Your Mother DIPA

54.5 IBU: 5 SRM:, 8.4% ABV

Ask your mother...said every dad ever. Our newest DIPA was brewed in honor of all dads who love craft beer! Even our cans pay tribute. Our then 3 year-old-daughter Iyla drew a rather spot-on portrait of dad, which made us laugh every time we looked at it. Now you can get a smirk from it too when you grab a 4-pack. Brewed with flaked oats, flaked barley and wheat this beer is unfiltered, smooth and fruity. Hopped and dry-hopped with Mosaic, Vic Secret, Azacca and Citra which showcases a unique and dynamic fruity character.

Phizz Whizzer Peach Melba Sour

10  IBU,  SRM (Pink), 5.8% ABV

Born out of our love for that old school dessert, Peach Melba, which features warm peaches and raspberries melting over vanilla ice cream. Brewed with pilsner, wheat and milk sugar, fermented with Lactobacilis Brevis and conditioned on fresh vanilla beans and more than 200 lbs. of peach and raspberry puree for a bright, tart berry punch.

Gobblefunk Boysenberry Sour

10 IBU, SRM ? (Purple),5.5% ABV

Named for Roald Dahl's made up language, this dynamic sour ale strikes a balance of tradition and innovation. Gobblefunk is brewed with pilsner and wheat malts and fermented with Lactobacilis Brevis. The final product boasts 252 pounds of Boysenberry puree for a fruity finish and a Wonka-ish purple color.

Melanie Brulée

Thursday, July 25th

What most might call Americana, folk-rock or country music, Toronto-based Melanie Brulée colours her own, bringing a vintage respect to a modern sound by intertwining surf-style guitar tones and catchy melody hooks - all with the vibe of a speakeasy cabaret. Her music has been on regular rotation on CBC and Sirius XM and her third album Fires, Floods & Things We Leave Behind, exploring themes of family, loss and addiction, was released in October 2018.

Our Story

We're Ben and Joy Braddock, crazy kids (now with a kid of our own!) that a long time ago fell in love with each other and fell in love with craft beer. Fast forward 16 years and we're almost three years into owning our beloved craft brewery & taproom in the heart of the Parkville neighborhood in Hartford, CT.

We jumped the corporate ship, deciding life is too short to not pursue our dreams and spend our days doing what we love. Over 10 years ago, Ben quit his day job when his cubicle walls started closing in on him. It was a “now or never” kinda moment. He swallowed his pride and got his start in the industry cleaning kegs. As a brewer in both a production and brewpub setting, he learned the ins and outs and discovered his own brewing style.

More recently, Joy quit her corporate gig to focus 100% on building a taproom experience that invites community, family and friends to not only enjoy our craft beer but also enjoy the space through other experiences like live music, pop-up maker fairs,  beer dinners and barre classes. She is excited to bring the community an ever-evolving lineup of unique events that bring people together.

Together, we invite you to come join us for a beer. You'll most likely find one of our faces behind the bar. Come say hello!
